When sitting at the dining room table brainstorming with my daughter, I asked her to help me come up with some forest themed ideas to paint.
I told her, "Think forest animals, foraging, plants... anything fun to do with the forest."
She didn't miss a beat. Immediately, her nine year old brain spewed, "Go forage yourself," with a shrug. I almost spit my coffee. I couldn't have come up with anything better myself, and by the end of day we had a rough sketch for this painting, and a secondary design for screen printing it ourselves.
